We love our children! At Gateway Christian Church we minister to children from newborn through 6th grade. We believe in sharing who Jesus is and His love to all our children through worship, application, and activites. To achieve our vision we created two departments; WeeLand (newborns to kindergarten) and AdventrueLand (1st through 6th grade.)

While the adults are meeting for morning worship, your child is ministered in either WeeLand or AdventureLand. We are using a curriculum entitled "Kid's Quest", which is designed to take children through the Bible in four years, focusing on the values taught in Bible stories. We want to teach children the Bible from an early age.

Our theme verse is 2 Timothy 3:15: "From infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus." - 2 Timothy 3:15, NIV . The Kid's Quest curriculum starts with Creation in Book One and ends with Paul's Missionary Journeys in Book Four. We teach through music, crafts, games,, and a story time. Your child will review the Bible story at home with you by doing a weekly lesson from the Kid's Quest notebook. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to apply what is being learned to his/her everyday life.

Our children are grouped based on physical and social development. We offer five groups:

Each child will be moved up when he/she is ready for the next group (except for Kinders which is for school-age only).

In AdventureLand our children are divided into 3 grade groups:

We look at the spiritual development of each child to determine which curriculum book is best for your child. We want every child to have a strong foundation in the Christian faith as well as challenging them to grow in the knowledge and faith of our Lord Jesus Christ.

CMC is open to boys and girls in 4th - 6th grade who want to gain leadership skills. CMC meets on a monthly basis to work on team-building skills and learn outreach skills.

KFC is open to all boys and girls in 4th - 8th grade. Meeting once a month, they have a time of fellowship, study God's Word, and develop team-building skills.

- Using Bible-based material since we believe that the Bible is our authority and guideline for life.

- Equipping our children to tell others about God's love and His life-changing ways through their words and actions.
